lewis-carroll: A user just posted in the Alice in Wonderland tag the photo montage of Carroll and Alice ”kissing”, which is a combination of these two photographs: The photo is a fake. It’s horrifying to see it has reached almost 250 notes. This just shows how misinformed and naive people can be. Most photographs of Carroll I see on Tumblr don’t even reach 20 notes. But a ridiculous and not well done montage gets 245 notes? Come on, people. Don’t believe in everything you see on the internet. It is the internet, after all. … the Photoshopped picture even looks fake. Jesus Christ people, COME ON. He’s not a fucking pedophile! Pick up a book for God’s sake and learn a thing or two! He liked kids, but NOT in that way. Him and J.M. Barrie, they will always be accused of this bullshit and it just irks the hell out of me.
